About the Design
Designed for the Stables at Home Farm, an intimate sitting room within the former stable building, the rug’s softly structured pattern draws inspiration from the movement and depth of the grasses surrounding the property, layered against the ordered geometry of stalls, stone pavers, and timber framing. Hand knotted by nomadic artisans, each rug carries a quietly unique character.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The John Pawson collection of rugs for Elte draws deeply for its inspiration on the architect’s own home in the Oxfordshire countryside – from the warm tone of its stone, to the geometries of its timbers and brickwork. The collection is also a profound expression of Pawson’s longstanding preoccupation with rhythm, repetition, pattern and texture.Product Details
