The Process

Step 1 — Visit our showroom

Bring in your room dimensions, along with any inspirational materials or existing colour swatches that you may want to incorporate into the design of your rug. With over 3,000+ custom rug samples and our in-stock inventory of 6,000+ rugs, we'll be sure to inspire you to create something special.

Step 2 — Rug design & material selection

Our custom rug designer will guide you through size, pattern, colour palette, and fibre selection for your custom piece. We can produce custom rugs in many different fibres including wool, silk, sari silk, bamboo silk, banana silk, linen, cashmere and hemp. A personalized rendering will be created so that you can see what the full design will look like.

Step 3 — Sample inspection

Upon finalization of the design, a small sample of your custom rug will be made for you to see exactly what your rug will look like. This sample generally takes 4–6 weeks. The sample is inspected and, once approved, your custom rug will go into production.

Step 4 — Production & delivery

Throughout the process, your custom rug specialist will advise on the progress of your rug. Depending on the size, intricacy and knot count, your rug could take anywhere from 3–6 months. Once the rug is complete, we will contact you to schedule pickup or delivery. This beautiful, one-of-a-kind custom piece is now yours to enjoy!
